Users are issued with a limited license by the World Currency Exchange that has the potential to be purchased and sold for US Dollars. The value of the WOD license is determined using a fixed exchange rate set by the World Currency Exchange, the rate is then applied to the total amount of WOD assigned to that license at the time of a transaction.

WODS are a universal virtual currency giving Internet users worldwide the opportunity to learn, have fun and share in the growth of Virtual Worlds, Social Networks, Massive Multiplayer online games and the World Stock Exchange. The World Dollar (WOD, WODS, W$) is not a real or legally recognised currency and holds no monetary or barter value in and of themselves. How to Buy and Sell WODS
Users can buy their WOD license and select the amount of WODS to be assigned to that license from the World Currency Exchange. Payments can be made with a Mastercard, VISA, bank account or PayPal account through our payment gateway supplied by Paypal. World Currency Exchange charges a USD$0.40 fee to sell the license to users in addition to the license charge. Australian citizens are required to pay an additional 10% GST which is applied to the total purchase amount.

Users can sell their WOD license and any WODS assigned to that license to the World Currency Exchange. The World Currency Exchange charges a USD$1.00 to buy the license from users and will subtract this charge from the license price. World Dollar Corporation Pty. Ltd. are reviewed for security and processed once every 24 hours using the Paypal Mass Payment system.

User to User Transfers
Users can directly transfer a portion or all of the WODS assigned to their license to another user with an account on the World Currency Exchange or on a third party platform such as the World Stock Exchange. The World Currency Exchange provides users with the ability to exchange WODS privately for any virtual goods and services. To use this feature, simply click "Send WODS" once you log in to your World Currency Exchange account, and then enter the amount of WODS to transfer along with the recipients World Currency Exhcange username to send WODS instantly. If a user has incorrectly entered a username and sent WODS to the incorrect user, the World Currency Exchange will attempt to resolve the error upon receiving information from the sender via our contact page. The World Currency Exchange cannot guarantee that any incorrectly transferred WODS will be reassigned to a users account.

How to Create an Account
To use the World Dollar, users must hold an account with the World Currency Exchange. There is no fee for creating and holding an account. To open an account, simply click "Sign Up Free!" from the main page, and follow the simple instructions. By creating an account with the World Currency Exchange users acknowledge that they accept and agree with the WCE Terms of Service located at http://www.wcelive.com/info/tos . For legal and security purposes the World Currency Exchange requires that all users provide their legal identity including their Full Name, Postal Address, Telephone number and the Country where they reside. Users who provide false information during the registration process will have their account closed.
